Ottawa has a new Anime theme Asian Fusion restaurant and it’s a must visit for fans of anime and creative Asian dishes! At the time of this post, they were still in the soft opening phase which is anime-speak for “We’re powering up to level 9000, but not quite there yet.”💥

We walked into the Foodinator downtown Ottawa and it was like taking a nostalgic trip to part of our childhood. Classic anime art covering the walls, even the restrooms! But don’t let the playful decor fool you—the food here isn’t playing around.

Now, we must admit, when we first walked into this restaurant, we thought, “This could go one of two ways: it’s either a gimmick with a side of soy sauce or a legit spot that just happens to love classic anime.” Turns out, it’s the latter. It’s Asian Fusion - fusing together Sichuan, Thai, Japanese and Cantonese flavours - it’s like watching the Dragon Ball Z fusion dance. The variety of dishes come together in perfect harmony, creating a menu that’s as creative as it is delicious. They didn’t botch the dance; they nailed it.
